Robin Wise Lofstrom

“Robin is originally from Cleveland, Ohio (best location in the nation!) and has lived in Seattle since 1996. She and her husband have three grown children, and live in the North Seattle neighborhood of Broadview. Prior to becoming a hairdresser at 50, she worked principally with nonprofits in leadership and administration, and continues to work as a writer, website developer, and content producer. She has worked at a Queen Anne Aveda shoppe since 2021, serving as top-level hairdresser, educator, and retail ambassador there. She hopes to help COWU grow in membership and strengthen its ability to advocate on behalf of cosmetologists and common sense rules and regulations of this industry here in the great state of Washington!”

CANDIDATE FOR BOARD TREASURER:

Jeni Curian

“Hi, I’m Jeni Kurian, a Certified Public Bookkeeper who works exclusively with booth renters. Hair has always been how I express myself, so choosing this niche just made sense. I’ve lived in Washington since 2018, work at UW during the day, and bring a background in operations and auditing to my bookkeeping clients. I’m known for being a reliable, clear-communicating partner who keeps books clean and helps people save at tax time. I’d be proud to bring that same dependability to Cosmetologists of WA United as your Treasurer.”
