I am a single, self employed esthetician that is now unable to see clients, due to covid-19. What resources do I have for my loss of my source of income?
Team COWU
Hi Cathy! I have linked you on FB into our thread for SELF EMPLOYED. The most important thing that you can currently do is call all billing companies and ask for assistance. Most of them are waiving late fees, and some are even giving a month of forgiveness. The next thing you can do is call united way and ask for assistance with groceries. There phone number is the first on this list. I will personally be living off my credit card for now, but some are choosing to get a temporary job at safeway, costoco, freddys, etc. Most of those places are hiring same day – especially for delivery drivers. We expect more resources to become available during the next week.
